Helping young cancer patients:
for more than 25 years, the Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder e. V. (sponsorship association for raising funds for children with cancer) has been supporting medical research and assisting concerned parents in various ways. The parent house recorded more than 18,000 overnight stays last year, for example, thus permitting intensive support for young patients by their families - a key criterion for children to get well again. Furthermore, assistance is offered in terms of processing and treatment, possibilities are created for exchanging experiences or help given to families in financial difficulty. This aid is made possible by voluntary work performed by the Board of Management, Board of Trustees and an abundance of helpers. And by numerous donations. Yours and ours. Help to help!
